Corona vs AI

Hi, so i’ve stumbled upon this interesting little article on GeekWire which is about how Artificial Intelligence can help us in times like now, when we are up against COVID-19. I, myself, am very interested in AI and I think it has great potential to completely change our lives in the future. The article includes a little podcast which is very similar to the article itself. The author includes some interviews of people in it. So the big question is: “How will AI help is in the combat against COVID-19?” Well the answer that was given in this article is that AI will not be te next big thing that cures COVID-19. AI is being used as a tool to help achieve what we want in a quicker fashion. An executive at microsoft even said that in this case AI means Augmented Intelligence. Right now AI is collecting data from different articles to filter out not relevant studies for researchers. I think AI is a great tool and that we should try to integrate it even more in our lives. I also believe AI will be one of the biggest problem solvers in our future.
