How to start a mushroom farm business

Hello once again! Today i wanted to share my experience of the “How to start a mushroom farm business” that i attended on the 14th  of July. EventBrite is a very helpful site to find the events you need/want, this was a great example, because I just started getting in to farming mushrooms and really needed some extra information surrounding this topic. We learned an array of things, from start-up costs for beginners, more advanced laboratory techniques, how to find customers for your products & what types of mushrooms can be grown and sold for medicinal purposes or as gourmet mushrooms. I will be applying the concepts learned from the event, like scouting restaurants that might want my mushrooms, preperations that are required before trying to sell anything, for example getting a good insight of how to grow and when something is contaminated or not, also to have consistent flushes of mushrooms, to be able to sell consistently. Another cool thing is that we were able to join a facebook group with different people and learned about other facebook groups where people share their progress and information. Learned a lot from the event and managed to expand my network with people who know more about the business I am getting in to, than myself. Great experience & value!
